Newport Coast Community Center Gym Guidelines 2025-26
We are pleased to announce the Newport Coast Community Center will be one of our host gyms for the 2025-26 Newport-Mesa NJB Season!
NO FOOD OR BEVERAGE IS ALLOWED IN THE GYM AT ANY TIME (ESPECIALLY COFFEE DRINKS). WATER/GATORADE FOR PLAYERS IS OK. PLEASE CLEAN-UP AFTER YOURSELF SO WE CAN CONTINUE TO USE THE GYMS IN NEWPORT BEACH!
Games this season will be played at Newport Coast, Ensign Middle School, Newport Harbor High School and Costa Mesa High School with some games at other gyms on SuperBowl Weekend and the end of season tournament in February.
2025-26 Newport-Mesa Clinic League (Boys & Girls K-2nd Grade)
Girls/Boys - Newport-Mesa NJB Clinic League
Dates: Dates & Location for the 2025-26 season: December 7, 12/14 & 21 and January 11 & 18.
Harbor Day School Gym - 3443 Pacific View Drive Corona Del Mar, CA 92625
Dates: Starts Sundays in December-January
Hours: 1:30-3:00pm.
The NJB chapter’s clinic league is a great opportunity for new basketball players to learn the fundamentals of the game while having fun with their friends.
Divisional League begins in 3rd grade so prepare now with this clinic run by trained coaches on indoor courts!
What: Both boys and girls are encouraged to sign up. The clinic is co-ed and will prepare all athletes for the separate boys and girls divisional play available the following year.
When: 90-minute clinics are held each Sunday, usually late afternoon/early evening, starting December 2025 and runs through January 2026 (with time off during the holidays)
Where: Harbor Day School Gym - 3443 Pacific View Drive Corona Del Mar, CA 92625
Cost: The fee is $175.00 and includes a clinic basketball and t-shirt. (Note: League Fees are $160.50 and NJB Card is $14.50)
Note: We are accepting ALL new players and friends/siblings once the clinic starts, just let us know!

15th Annual Don Daniels Newport-Mesa City Tournament!
The 15th Annual Don Daniels Memorial Tournament single-elimination Championship Tournament will take place again in 2026!
The weekend tournament will begin on Saturday 2/7 and conclude on Sunday 2/8 with Championship Games at Newport -Mesa area gyms.
2025-26 Newport-Mesa NJB Winter Season Information!
Newport-Mesa NJB has a single Winter Season that begins each November and ends in mid-February. The league is parent-coached and competitive but accepts players of all skill levels. Teams are capped at 8-9 players. Sign-ups begin in early September and evaluation day occurs mid-October. League fees are around $295.00 for the 2025-26 season (plus required NJB card). Practices are on the weekends and games are played Saturdays / Sundays and during the 2025-26 season. All games are local to the Newport-Mesa area. This league occurs on weekends ONLY -- there are NO games or practices during the week.

Newport-Mesa NJB Coaches Registration 2025-26 (Mandatory For All Coaches)!
The NJB Coaches Clinic is Mandatory for all coaches (both assistants and head coaches) who coach in our league as well as registration though NJB's background/registration check. The 2025-26 Coaches Clinic will take place on October 26, 2025 at Ensign Middle School Gym from 9am-11:00am. Please register this season via the website below.
